We gave into peer pressure, and got us a bean cooker. The rest of the world calls it an “Instant Pot”, but we have our children convinced that its for cooking beans. I will add that it does that very well! Anyhow, we have been reading a lot of blogs, etc written by full timers and they all rant and rave about this device. We shopped around and looked at the different features offered by different brands and models, but ended up with the 7 function model from the Instant Pot brand. In the coming days, months and years, we will be trying different recipes and update you on ones we like, dislike, and don’t work well.
