Houston we have a problem

Another moving day came and went, and we got moved to Colorado River Thousand Trails outside of Columbus Texas.  The move didn’t go without a hitch, we had a blow out on the trailer about 40 miles from our exit.  Doug got that changed out, and finished the trip.  The next day we replaced all of the tires on it, as we think these were the original tires from 2011 on it still.   The next day we made our way into Houston to visit the Johnson Space center.  It was listed on the ASTC guide as a museum included with our pass, but unfortunately when we got there, we were told that it was listed but was not included.  We made the drive down there, and we weren’t about to not go, so we paid our admission and went in.  Boy was that place was a zoo.  There were so many people there.  The lines were long for the tram tours, and to go inside any of the bigger exhibits.  But it was definitely cool, we watched a couple live demonstrations, Colin even got a bottle of recycled Urine!  The next day we spent around the trailer, the boys had a friend next door, and had a great time playing with him. Thanks for following along the start of our journey in 2016, look forward to what’s in store for 2017.  Happy New Year!!

About Fummins Family

In 2016 a family hit the road with 5 of their children. They were going to travel the country in a Ford Excursion that had a cummins engine. A ford with a cummins, hence the name, Fummins. Ford+Cummins=Fummins. It was going to be a fummins family roadtrip. Within 3 months they decided that the travel trailer they were pulling wasn't working well for their family. They needed more space so they upgraded to a fifth wheel. It's not easy to pull a fifth wheel with an excursion, so they had to bid farewell to the fummins. They talked about changing the name of theirs travels, but decided to hold onto it for a while longer. They already had a website, blog, youtube, instagram and facebook. After 2 more years they decided to make the switch to Roadschool. Here they will share some of the old posts and video. It may be old information, but it's still just as good...at least most of it!
