We are very short on storage, so every little bit helps. I decided to get this Better Built Tongue Tool Box to store the trailer leveling equipment in. Its only adding a couple cubic feet of storage, but it definitely helps.
My thought was to have anything we need first when arriving at a site and until last before leaving available outside of the typical storage. So I had one of welders where I work build me a small frame to support the tool box over the batteries on the tongue of the truck between the cabin and the propane tanks. I looked at a lot of different boxes, but unfortunately I only had 17″ to work with, so i couldn’t go any bigger than that. On top of all that, I did not want to add a whole bunch of weight. This one weighs in at 17 lbs.
